Continuing on the strain of my previous project, 'The Beat Of A Feather' is a work of still life landscape inspired by childhood memories of the forest I once roamed as a kid in Canada. The project explores smaller pockets of the environment to create a sense of intimacy and magic that comes with the curiosity of children, this first chapter of the project follows a narrative about the flow of life in forests. Although it features no human presence, the aim for the work is for the veiwer to reflect 0n their own experience in this environment, their connection to it and place it holds in their world.
